Large Touchscreen and Slide-out Keyboard coming to a Palm near you!
Crunch Gear has learned from a very reliable source that Palm has a phone with a large touchscreen and a sliding keyboard floating around headquarters running Nova, their next gen OS. More exciting however is that this secret phone is supposedly going to be released Thursday! The new OS has been given the name “Amazing”, and like all smartphones released post-iPhone, is being compared to the iPhone as described as looking “iPhone like”. At launch a whole host of software will also be revealed to sweeten the whole Palm shebang. The hardware part of the phone is more than likely an HTC device like the Palm Pro. I am really looking forward to something new and exciting from Palm. They have been on a super long extended vacation and it would be nice to praise them as opposed to criticize. Surprise Palm!
