iPhone + card counting app = black eyes and bruised egos compliments of Las Vegas casino security

I’m all for giving the underdog an advantage and a fighting chance, however the recently announced iPhone app called “Card Counter” is quickly making waves in Vegas…and not for the better.  While card counting isn’t illegal, the use of card counting machines are.  That includes iPhones packin’ the Card Counter app.  So if you’re thinking of running over to Vegas to make few thousand dollars think twice as hotel/casino security already knows about the app and is on the lookout for iPhone toting gamblers.  While they can’t tell you to not use your phone at the table, if they ask you to put your iPhone away because they suspect something not so kosher is going on, it’s best to listen as the security team is usually much stronger than you.  You’ve been warned!
