Have you ever found yourself staring at your wallet and a photo frame for hours on end…motionless…just the cells in your head spinning out of control trying to figure out how to get item 1 into item 2? Well I have some good news for you. You can take a break and give your head some much needed rest as the good folks over at Digital Foci have already done all the heavy lifting and will announce at the PMA (Photo Marketing Association) show between March 3-5 their answer to your life problem: The Photo Book. Basically, the Photo Book is like a digital wallet…don’t try fitting it in your pocket though…it’s a tad too big. What kind of things does the Photo Book have? Well come on inside…
We’ll get right into the nitty and gritty specs…and here they are:
- 8″ 800 x 600 hi-rez LCD screen
- 4GB of internal memory
- Built in memory card support for (CF, SD/HC, MMS, MS/MS PRO) for added storage
- Direct USB reading ability
- Copy pictures/albums directly to Photo Book from flash drives and memory cards without the need for a computer
- Automatic photo slideshows w/Auto photo orientation based on EXIF data
- Zoom, pan, and rotate functions
- RAW image viewing support from DSLRs
- Music and video playback to give your slide shows that little extra flare
- 2.5 hours of battery life on the rechargeable battery
Again, you’ll have to wait until early March in order to carry the Photo Book around, but in the meantime, head on over to Digital Foci and get more acquainted with some of their other fine products!
*Second photo on right is a monsterous one just in case you’d like to get up close and personal and count the grains in the leather. Hey, I think of everyone.*
