Fresh off of the whole Verizon/Netbook thing, the latest little tid bit comes by way of AT&T. Seems they aren’t going to sit down and watch as Verizon dips a toe in the netbook pool. While Verizon buddied up with HP, Dell has other plans and instead is siding with Dell in this new venture. Dell Inspiron Mini 9′s and 12′s will soon be sitting next to smartphones at your local AT&T stores. Unlike Verizon however, release date and pricing information is nill. However, if AT&T has at least one functioning brain cell in the corporate ego swollen heads, they’ll stick with the $99/2-year contract style that Verizon has listed. However, if they would like to undercut Verizon a bit with say $69/2-year contract, I’m sure a few people would be quite happy indeed.
