Just can’t get enough of *legal* file sharing?  If so, Microsoft has another teaser for you concerning their up and coming OS, Windows 7.  Said feature will allow you to securely connect to friends, family, and co-workers  by way of Windows Live Sign-In Assistant 6.5.  It ties your Windows Live ID with your Windows 7 account creating an ultra secure transmission portal between your hard drive and Windows Live online accessible information creating a secure selectible service transmission method.   This definitely sounds like a pretty cool feature to allow you to safely share files.  +1 Microsoft.

So you are an IE loyalist who through fire and hell would stand by your trusty browser ’til the end.  Besides, it’ the corporate standard.  When was the last time you went into a big corporation, sat down and one of their computers and fired up Opera, Safari, FireFox?  Chances are it would be never.  One would assume that having a majority 67.55% would mean that your browser help up to the standards of the web.  If you thought that, you would be wrong.  Microsoft’s Internet Explorer has long eschewed the web standards instead focusing on whatever it is they focus on.  So it comes with some certain comedy that the list of incompatable websites on the latest RC1 build of IE 8 contains some pretty big name sites.  What sites exactly?  The list is right in side.

AT&T not to be outdone by Verizon…Soon selling Netbooks of their own

Fresh off of the whole Verizon/Netbook thing, the latest little tid bit comes by way of AT&T.  Seems they aren’t going to sit down and watch as Verizon dips a toe in the netbook pool.  While Verizon buddied up with HP, Dell has other plans and instead is siding with Dell in this new venture.  Dell Inspiron Mini 9′s and 12′s will soon be sitting next to smartphones at your local AT&T stores.  Unlike Verizon  however, release date and pricing information is nill.  However, if AT&T has at least one functioning brain cell in the corporate ego swollen heads, they’ll stick with the $99/2-year contract style that Verizon has listed.  However, if they would like to undercut Verizon a bit with say $69/2-year contract, I’m sure a few people would be quite happy indeed.  Couple more shots of a secret computer screen from within the lair that is AT&T.

Yes you read that right.  With all of the hype about TeleAtlas displaying Turn-by-Turn (not to detract from their work) no one has taken the time to notice that their is in fact a Turn-by-Turn GPS app for the iPhone already available in the iTunes App Store.  *Gasps with an exclamation point*.  I’m not pulling your leg either.  The Turn-by-Turn app is made by X Road Co.  The map GPS software actually comes in two parts called G-Map West and G-Map East.  Apple Insider tested it an it does in fact track you and give you up to the second updates on where you’re going.  What all does it do?  How much does it cost?  Is it worth it?  The answer is right inside.
