iPhone now half Kindle thanks to…Amazon(?)
Fellow iPhone users who love their iPhone and at the same time can’t see parting with nearly $400 for a Kindle can now let loose a sigh of relief as today a Kindle app was released in the App Store. Is Amazon shooting themselves in the hardware foot by releasing a Kindle app on a competitors platform? Yes. But, it will make people happy and in all reality that’s what really matters right! Best part is that the app is free. The iPhone Kindle app will give users the ability to: (1) Shop for hundreds of thousands of books on the Kindle Store and wirelessly transfer the books to their iPhone or iPod touch. (2) Access their entire library of previously purchased Kindle books stored on Amazon’s servers. (3) Adjust the text size of books and (4) Add bookmarks and view notes and highlights. Another great app for iPhone/iPod touch users. If you download it let us know how it works!
