Sennheisers Sports oriented “Sports II” headphones resist sweat, dirt, cold, and water.

If you find yourself constantly fiddling with your headphones, earbuds/in-ear phones in particular when you are doing the sportsy things that you love Sennheiser has a couple of solutions for you. Gone are the times when you have to slow down or stop your activity just to adjust your music. Sennheiser has something right up the sports enthusiasts alley designed to stand up to the wear and tear of high stress, these headphones are definitely worth a look. Come inside to find out more on these extreme headphones as well as a few pictures of the different styles.
Sennheisers Sport II headphones break away from the pack and feature a sweat resistant design that can also withstand temperatures down to a bone chilling -10 degrees. So you used your Sports II headphones on a run through the desert today…? No problem, just wash off your headphones. That’s right, I said wash your headphones.
To start things off, the MX 80 and MX 85 retail for about $36 and $48 respectively. The MX 80′s feature an exclusive “BassWind” system to provide extra oomph down low where most ear buds give out. The MX 85′s have their own unique claim to fame which is an innovative “twist to fit” system to make sure you have a tight and secure fit in your ears.
Upping the price and performance a tad will bring you to the OMX 80 and PMX 80 both retailing for around $47. The OMX 80′s have a more “old school” clip design which clip over your ears while the PMX 80′s incorporate a behind-the-head band as to keep your hair stylin’ and your music a thumpin’…right. Onward….
Reigning in as the king of the heap, the CX 380′s will set you back $75ish. Don’t let the price scare you away. The 380′s bring higher end sound quality with the in-ear style as to block out sound without using batteries or gimmicky “noise canceling” technology. Like many other in-ear phones of this caliber, they come with several different sizes and styles of ear tips ensuring you get a secure seal to block out outside noise.
All of the Sport II headphones come with a cable clip and pouch. I hope your favorite (or at least NOT your least favorite) color is orange as that is the only choice color wise. The OMX 80′s have the benefit of also coming in blue. But hey, headphones are meant to play music, not look stylish.
