Windows 7 branding and new logo leaks to ocular cavities everywhere!

Regardless if you liked or disliked Windows Vista’s branding and logo, many were hoping that Microsoft would bring a fresh face to Windows 7. So far, through all of the betas and the current RC, the branding and logo hasn’t been any different than Vista. Thankfully MS China has posted what are officially the new branding and logo of Windows 7 in hopes to distance itself from the eternal failure that is Vista. As you can see from above, the new look is a lot more “airy”, open, and overall “happier” feeling that says “I promise to longer bring your PC to it’s knees when opening such graphic intensive apps as paint and notepad.” – unlike Vista’s bloated, dark, and draconian appearance and ways.
