Netbook users who were worried of the upcoming 3-app limit on their netbooks that were more than capable of running more than 3 apps can rest assured that Windows 7 starter, the netbook edition, will in fact let multitaskers do what they do best. However, the more creative and artistically minded will still have a huge problem in that the Windows Aero look will not be available in starter. Meaning custom wallpapers, colors, themes, etc. will not be featured in 7 starter. Again, the expressive individuals will be saddened by the lack of expressiveness. But how many people will really feel that obligated and moved to pony up $100+ in order to change their wallpapers/themes? If you’re going to create false limitations in order to force people into upgrading, the 3-app limit at least made more sense. That is a huge limitation that will affect many. The new limit – meh? Who cares? Do you?
