If that quesiton above has been bouncing around the hollows of your head for days on end if not years, I have the answer to your most sought after question. The picture above depicts the “Rosetta Disk” – 13,500 pages of data in an astonishing 1,500 different languages all crammed on to a solitary nickel (talk about eagle eyes). Speaking of which, you will need a 500x or greate microscope to read any one page…not to mention the know how of the language. Sooo…anyone know where to find the table of contents….?

Indiana University Kelley School of Busines getting swanky new Berries thanks to AT&T

  • May 22, 2009 1:43 pm

If you are a faculty member or grad student of Indiana University Kelley School of Busines, AT&T would like to share some love with you. Big Blue will now be offering aforementioned persons special deals and discounts on RIM’s increasingly popular Blackberry handheld devices paving way for RIM to get not just their foot but their leg up to their figurative hip in through the door. The IU discounted Blackberries will be tied to IU’s Microsoft® Exchange e-mail and calendars, as well as the school’s existing BlackBerry® Enterprise Server in order to make school life as easy as possible.

For a second it kind of makes me want to go that school in order to get sweet discounts on my Berry addiction. But then reality sinks in and I realize I would be so bored out of my mind not because of the school, but because of the material, that I would have to turn to more adventerous yet slightly public unfriendly time wasters such as moon rock excavator and possibly even olfactory fail safe tester. Moving on…a business degree is simply not in my future. But, for those of you who think otherwise and love that sort of business related stuff all while attending the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, getting a Blackberry should now be an even easier and more cost effective option.

USB 3.0 capable of more – 25Gbps capable ceiling obtainable!

speed

USB 2.0 while fast in its day is simply no match for the size and quantity of files people are now swapping in the more technology saturated world in which we live in today. USB 3.0 thankfully is their knight in shining armour if you will as it will bring a much greater bandwidth max ushering in true high-speed transfers able to cope with large files such as HD movies and lossless music among other types. At the USB 3.0 Developers Conference that was held May 20 to 21, 2009, in Tokyo, Japan, Jeff Ravencraft, chairman of the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) proposed that USB 3.0 was in fact designed to support much higher speeds than the current “merely adequate” 5Gbps. Just how fast is faster? What about multiple times faster….super hyper speed faster….!

Panasonics head honcho, Keisuke Ishii said that they are “seriously considering developing an Android-based handset and entering overseas mobile phone markets in fiscal 2010.” While it isn’t Pany’s first handset, not by a long shot, it is their first Android device. And we all know how Android is shaping up to be the underdog that could in ’09 paving way for an all out assault come 2010. As far as any other details go such as how many handsets or any specific specs on any particular handsets Mr. Ishii declined to comment on leaving plenty of room for your rumor generator to go into full swing. lego_flash_drive2

If you’re a fan of Legos and all things that remind you of your childhood, the Lego Flash Drive could very well make its way into your home and coax more money from your wallet, loosening the death grip that is surely embracing it. This tiny building block turned digital vault will come with a tiny storage to match that tiny size. The 1GB of available storage won’t appease all users as many have much more than 1GB they need to take with them. However, given the size and construction of these devices, building a super Lego Flash Drive by connecting several of these together could prove to be pretty handy if not a tad geeky and cool. Support for both Windows and Mac OS coupled with 10 color choices means no one is left out of the party or rendered unable to “express themselves”. Building that super Lego Flash Drive will set you back a pretty penny however as the drive and all of it’s measly 1GB of storage will cost you $49.95 for the privilage. Ouch. Hit up Smile 123 and order yours now.

The latest news revolves around Best Buy in particular and how the shortage strangled sales will go. IT isn’t pretty and isn’t for the faint of heart. Come inside if you really must know the dirty details and eternal sadness that is about to become.

Twitter’s success and popularity are hard to deny and escape. It seems the world, well, the U.S. at least is entranced by this once tiny micro-blogging service that has in a very short amount of time exploaded into a national phenomenon. Twitter is chaning the way we speak so much so in the future people might even start speaking like tweets in public. Twitter has consumed so much media attention and garned so much press, it is almost hard to think of how we ever lived without Twitter. But what if Twitter was around in a more “analog” form during an older time period, perhaps the 60′s and 70′s. What would Tweets look like then? Behold the “Tweet Shirts” (compliments of Threadless w/ phrase coined by Gear Log). What are Tweet Shirts and what can we Tweet to the outside world with our shirts?
