Why would anyone want to lug around an unwieldy and cumbersom vacuum cleaner when they can simply, left, hang, and suck? The Backpack Vacuum is aiming to revolutionize how you, the dust bunny hating consumer, put an end to the dust bunny revival. While dust will always accumulate, the never ending battle can at least be easier, less cumbersome, and dare I say…just maybe even slightly cool? Nah. Cool is stretching it a bit too far. At least you won’t have to worry about stumbling over the vacuum cleaner. You can always lie to people when the see it stashed in your closet and tell them it’s a jet pack. Now that is cool. No? The only downside to this upright and more mobile vacuum is that it must still be tethered to mother earth with one of those pesky antiques — a cord. Can’t win them all. $170 doesn’t seem so bad now does it?
