While the BlackBerry email handling is bar none, one of the easier and most simplistic methods to retrieve email on the go, it leaves much to be desired. Gmail users in particular have been clamoring for better gmail management for some time. It appears if their cries for help are not going unheard. A thread over at BlackberryForum(de) details the leaked goodness of an enhanced Gmail plugin coming to BlackBerry soon. Supposedly, the plugin will add Gmail specific functions to your CrackBerry that include but are not limited to:
I know that many of you hardcore BlackBerry/Gmail users are foaming at the mouths wanting in on the action. If you want to try your luck, you can try to get accepted into the Beta Program. Just don’t be disappointed if you’re not let in. The beta pool is being kept pretty low and close. The only requirements known thus far are BIS 2.7. Are ya excited yet?!
