Pierre Junod Eris watch puts a new “spin” on time telling

Watches are a dime a dozen these days with the same basic idea and design applied in countless watches. However, a watches that truly makes you sit back and go “Woah…that’s cool” are few and far between. Well, it is time for one of those woah moments. The Pierre Junod Eris watch, (named after the freshly named planet) breaks all the past molds of what a watch is, how it looks, and how it tells you the message of time. Instead of spinning hands on a flat face, the Pierre uses two floating, rotating hands inside of an anthracite anodized aluminum case featuring curved mineral glass to keep those all important hands safe. Yes, it is quite the departure from normal time tellers as we know it. So just exactly how are you supposed to wear this watch on your wrist? You don’t. The included neck strap signifies that you should wear this geeky time teller around your neck proudly. Such fashion forwardness and technological futuristic tech comes at a price however — a $450 price. Just make sure you really love to know the time before pulling the trigger.
