While technology can be a great tool, it does at times have its shortcomings and hiccups. Take for example a couple traveling in Italy. Their original destination was Capri, however, they accidently typed in Carpi. Ok big deal you say, they typed it in wrong and the GPS got them there perfectly. In reality, the real “hiccup” wasn’t the GPS navigating them to the wrong destination but instead the clueless couple who kept driving on and on completely oblivious to their surroundings. One would think that at some point after taking may hours longer than originally planned the couple would have suspected something just wasn’t quite right. Again, you would have assumed too much. After arrival at Carpi, an industrial town in Northern Italy instead of their real vacation spot, Capri, a nice little isle of said country, the couple was promptly pointed in the right direction by a helpful if not slightly amused Carpi native. It just goes to show you that common sense is somewhat of a rarity these days.
