You know those shower heads with the gimmicky though functional feature of illuminating red or blue LED’s to alert the user of either hot or cold water? Add a few more LED’s and some more color and what do you get? A rainbow water show compliments of Guglielmi. Guglielmi’s WaterTherapy shower head packs in a mind blowing 480 separate LED’s behind each of the 480 nozzles giving the shower user not only a thorough cleaning, but a grand display of visual bliss to boot. Different color patterns and sequences are controlled by programs that alter the light show so no morning is ever the same. Those red/blue shower heads just became a lot more primitive didn’t they?

If you’re looking for a way to spruce up that dilapidated looking excuse for an office you work in, or, you simply want to add a geeky flare to your living space, Vadim Kibardin has just the thing for you. His latest design, the “Black & White Clock” as it’s called, is unique for the fact that each jump sized number is powered by it’s own power source as well as containing it’s own light sensor. Why the light sensor? You see, the title “Black & White” actually pertains to the color of which the numbers are displayed. During day time, the letters “light” up black and at night when the sun goes down and normal ambient light disappears, the clock switches over to a “white” light for time telling duties. As seen from the pictures above, the clock is really cool and is definitely worthy of many a geeks’ walls.

Faithful OS X fans who were hoping for Snow Leopard to bring about a freshening to the aging look of Leopard were surely let down when Snow Leopard was revealed earlier this year with the same exact face as Leopard. The lack of change was to many hardly a surprise however as Snow Leopard is being marketed as a simple “re-tooling/re optimization” of Leopard — why go UI crazy on a “minor” update. Save that for OS 10.7…right? It seems that Apple as of late has been getting impatient on waiting for future OS X releases to alter the look of 10.6.

That is a good question. One that I simply cannot answer by mere pictures alone. However, after looking at a picture of the Linus Kutavicius Light Pillow, I think I can come to the conclusion that it really can’t be all that comfortable. Some willing to disagree may call out my lack of actually using the product. With most products that would be a very notable argument. Though this is not your average gadget. You see, words such as “powder-coated metal frame” don’t exactly spell out “good night’s sleep” to me. Maybe in another world, but not here on earth. The light would hopefully be LED or else your noggin is going to be one burnt egg when you wake up in the morning. Some may say I’m missing the point as this special pillow is more “decoration/light” than actual pillow. Well, if that’s the case why even buy it?
I am rather curious as to the comfort of such a pillow except there’s a pesky $189 price tag looming overhead. Ok…maybe I’m not that curious. Has anyone actually tried one of these so that we can get some real world input?

The Palm Pre is considered by many as the one thing that kept Palm from going completely belly up in the year 2009. While it won’t turn the company into an Apple-esque super power overnight, it is at least keeping the lights on. Sadly, CDMA lovers in the U.S. have only one option in which to purchase a Palm Pre: Sprint. However, Cleanser, a member of PreCentral forum, has managed to do the seemingly impossible. He unlocked his Pre and got it up and *mostly* running on Verizon (voice and SMS only for now). Obviously, the hardest part he claims was getting someone at Big V to add his MEID number into the system. The rest was your usual firmware flashes and good ‘ol hacking. Whether or not Palm will get around to spreading the U.S. love anytime soon looks doubtful for the near term. For now you’ll have to make do with the “leak standard” Mr. Blurry Cam appearance.

Well stomp on frogs and shove a crowbar up my nose. If this has any grains of truth, color me unimpressed, disappointed, and frustrated. For the few users who haven’t already jailbroken their iPhone to allow MMS and tethering, the more legit route appears to be getting longer and longer. Again, this is a rumor by Appmodo that claims AT&T has been in contact with them directly to set the record straight on Appmodo’s July release time frame for the much requested features. So what’s the scoop?
