Facebook for Android unofficially gets some camera time

While Facebook and Google haven’t always been the greatest of friends, it appears that Facebook is at least moving forward with their business ventures and will soon be releasing an Android Facebook app. The app as you can see is simple yet effective in its delivery. Another part that I like is that the tabs the iPhone version has adorning the bottom of the screen to jump between the different sections are nicely hid out of view on the Android version, accessible by the menu button which in return gives a few more precious pixels to the task at hand. Finally, an included widget will allow you to update your status without having to actually fire up the app. Whether or not these few extra seconds enhance your life for the better is debatable, still, it’s good to have options. I’m sure this isn’t the last batch of screenshots we’ll see before it’s officially released. Google/Facebook, care to say anything “official” on the matter?
