There are big flash drives and then their are big flash drives. The Corsair Flash Voyager GT 128GB flash drive is the latter. Not only does this flash drive have a capacity that will hold more than enough for the general computing population, but it has a fat ass to match. I know what you’re thinking. That a flash drive this large will take weeks to fill due to god awful read/write times. Fear not dear techie as the read/write times aren’t too shabby (they’re a whole lot better than my older 32GB Corsair Flash Voyager): 32MB/s read and 25.6MB/s write. While not anywhere close to higher end SSD’s, the ability to carry roughly 128GB on your keychain is pretty tempting. The only thing that leaves us wanting more is the lack of an official price. Considering how monstrous this drive is and how relatively uncommon still it is for 128GB to be stuffed into something so small, expect a price that isn’t exactly Walmart cheap. Still, being on the bleeding edge of technology has never been cheap has it? Are you emptying out your piggie bank yet?
