“Guilty until proven innocent….no such thing as legal downloads”….So says U.S. Government

common-sense

While the war against illegal downloads rages on between consumers and the organizations suing the pants off of everyone, one can easily see that this “war” will never end. It is and always will be a constant cat and mouse game. Many consumers however opt to avoid confrontations and instead go the legal route by paying for their digital downloads through the online media store of their choice. However, if you work for the U.S. government, prepare to sing a new song — a song that says any and all downloading, no matter if you pay or not, is illegal. Say what?

Can the government really be that dumb? Well of course they can…they’re a government body full of older age individuals so out of touch with reality and anything relevant common sense is bound to slip through the cracks in their skin.

In a recent mandatory government briefing focusing on information security, participators were being taught that any and all downloading of any kind is illegal activity. Even worse, they were instructed to draw attention to the accused individuals by literally standing up, pointing, and screaming “That’s stealing”.

First off, that’s the dumbest “briefing” I’ve ever seen. Second, all downloading is not illegal. Third, who the hell hired the individual(s) responsible for the training documents? Currently, this document is floating to hundreds of thousands federal and civilian government employees. Lets hope that at least 1/3 of them understand the difference between illegal and legal, not to mention stupidity and common sense.

Well folks, those are our tax dollars hard at work. Ya’ll a bunch of criminals. Hopefully as this non-sense spreads across the internet the retard in charge who authorized this training and/or put together the documents will come to his senses. Too much to ask?
