BlackBerry devices will nuke your noodle [Radiation]
While the jury is still out (side playing golf, shooting up on heroin, and speeding past police stations without their seat belts on) in regards as to if cell phone radiation is really that bad and how much is too much etc, the latest charts depicting smartphone radiation is sure to rekindle the fire within that fuels panic pushers. The biggest thing that caught my attention is that CrackBerries in general are some of the most prolific and generous with their radio waves as 12/25 or 4/10 of the top radiation leakers are BlackBerry devices. Now I’m not telling you this to scare you or push you to other devices. I am a gadget freak. Mobile devices such as BlackBerries are a joy in my life. If using one causes me to cease walking on the grass a few days or weeks early so be it. At least I enjoyed myself while I was here.
Moving past that morbid side story, RIM does get some saving grace as the BlackBerry 9500 and 9530 Storm oddly enough rank in at #8 and #9 on the list of lowest leakers. Hmmm. Again, odd. Could RIM be working harder on keeping your brain from turning into a pile of cooked mush? It can’t be a bad thing. Seeing as how the limit imposed by the government is 1.6 W/kg, with the second top leaker, a BlackBerry 8330 pumping out 1.54 W/kg, RIM could certainly stand to lose a few spots in this race. Paranoid and looking for the tin foil hats yet?
