We can finally see it. The Garmin nuvifone G60 is finally coming to market. These two years have been full of disappointment after disappointment and one delayed release announcement after another — not exactly the most expedited as you can see. However, put any ill will behind you and get your geek radar ready. Starting October 4th, AT&T will carry the nuvifone G60 and bring to market one of the most delayed handsets to date…anywhere. The specs are widely known by now leaving only a couple things left release date, which we have already covered, and price. $299 for two years of your life after a mail-in rebate is used. One other point worth mentioning, any super cool features and services such as “Premium Connected Services” including weather updates, traffic info, etc., expect to shell out more money to the tune of $5.99/month after the 30 day trial period runs it’s course. Now, whether or not you’ll be able to share your new geo tagged photos or even make a call on “America’s most reliable network” is another thing. Not to mention, considering this phone was top-o-the-line in late 2007/early 2008 specs, does it even stand a chance as we look at 2010 starring at us from not to far across the calendar? Is anyone excited about the G60 or has this ship come and gone from your port already?
