Motorola here in the states is enjoying a building hype as the Droid launch approaches. Now just 4 days away, many smartphone users are salivating at the awesomeness that awaits them. An early review of a pre-release Milestone by Mobile-Review’s Eldar Murtazin sheds light on a happy/sad moment for Milestone hopefuls. In lieu of the fact that it’s a Monday morning, I’ll start with the “giveth”.
Again, this is a pre-release, early ROM. It’s quite possible that Google Nav could crop up in subsequent builds. Though Eldar’s comments seem to hint otherwise. Whatever the case, it’s sure a slight disappointment for European Android users.
**Update: Well that was fast. A few Engadget readers have pointed out that the Milestone will in fact, not come with Google Navigation. Instead, the Milestone will come featuring MOTONAV turn-by-turn directions. At least it’s something. Will it be as good as Google’s offering…?
