Personal Email accounts w/ Exchange = $30, not $45.

Catch that? I’ve been seeing quite a few articles today concerning Verizon’s DROID plans and Exchange email. Many have been decrying the seemingly more expensive $45 data plan “required” to use an exchange email account. This isn’t the case. As Gearlog appropriately points out, you can access Exchange email on either the personal $30 data plan or the $45 corporate data plan. The only difference is that the $30 plan is meant for individual users who activate 5 or less lines. The $45 plan is geared towards businesses with tens to hundreds of activated lines. See the difference? So stop worrying. You don’t have to spend $45 just to use Exchange. You can have your cake and eat it too — as long as you eat your cake alone in your own little corner of the world…
