Moto Droid and Eris getting first OTA update December 11th. Follow up fix on January 22nd?

Have a few reservations about Droid that are keeping you from embracing the awesomeness that is Droid and Android 2.0? Never fear because Verizon and Motorola with a pinch of Google are on top of it in a big, big way. Not even a week old yet and already a 7-page document has leaked with current issues that are in route to drop in an upcoming update. Just how soon? December 11th soon. Ya, that’s quick turn around if I ever saw it. Don’t forget to continue voicing any problems or concerns on Verizon’s Moto Droid forum threads as well as other various Android forums. It appears they’re paying attention.

The remaining 6 pages are inside (repeat of the first as well) so go ahead and and give it a look.

So what do you think? Updates coming on December 11th, January 22nd, or both? Those could just be sliding dates with a target of “sometime in between”. I’m not alone in hoping for December 11th I’m sure. Nerds love updates…
