I opened a ticket with BendBroadband today and was advised by there technical team they will not support any other technology than the Bandrich products so apparently Frank Millers comment is no longer accurate. I would update your updated section above..

**Update 2: Unlocked devices in the AWS spectrum are game as well!

So if you have an unlocked UE with the bendbroadband SIM do you need to register the UE? Or just pop in the SIM and it should work?

Our UE's (router / USB modem) are the first productionHSPA+ devices in the AWS spectrum in the United States. At the current time, I am not aware of any HSPA+ handsets in the AWS spectrum, just a subsets of HSPA handsets (e.g. G1).

Mike, if your UE is unlocked our SIM will work in your device if it is HSPA / HSPA+ in the AWS bandplan.

Mike, I noticed that our old logo is posted along with our recent wireless announcement. We rebranded our company in late summer of this year so if you need our updated logo, please email me at mrenner@bendbroadband.net. Thanks and have a great day.

The service is via either fixed HSPA+ router (NAT/802.11n) or nomadic HSPA+ USB modem. HSPA+ provides a viable and cost effective solution for rural broadband needs with a solid upgrade path to LTE.
