    The iphone is already a pain in the neck to hold sometimes the edges are too thin and the pressure from my fingers sometimes flicks mine out of my hands.
    If they make it any thinner i think i’m going to have to glue it to my hand to keep from dropping it.
    I say why not focus on internal workings rather than design, things like a higher quality camera and more drive space would bring me more enjoyment.

      Some more function over form would be the logical choice. But it’s Apple we’re talking about — form most always trumps function. It’s not necessarily a terrible thing as it’s led to some truly great designs.

      In the case of the iPhone 4.0, the overall design doesn’t look like it’s really going to change that much, if at all. That’s where some added function and less emphasis and form would be beneficial. Further refining (in this case “thinning”) a product just to be stylish and claiming “world’s thinnest” is stupid and will degrade form the overall experience I think.
