“Intuitive UI” learns how you use your Android device, adjust homescreen accordingly.

Intelligent apps and gadgets are on the cusp of becoming “the next big thing”. Being “intelligent” is sort of tied into a form of AI, though even now our gadgets and electronics are still quite a ways from such things. But just because they aren’t as forward thinking or rational as true AI enabled devices, intelligent devices are here right now.

One such option is found in “Intuitive UI”, a homescreen replacement for Android users. It is this UK-based company, Intuitive User Interfaces, that is touting their “one-touch user interface” that learns what you do and when you do it — an intriguing concept no doubt.

As hinted previously, the UI learns what you do most and pushes those apps to the front, allowing you direct access to said services without having to flick between homescreens or menus. Even cooler however is that the UI also learns when you use certain apps. For example, in the morning I always check Twitter and Email messages on my DROID. Intuitive UI would know that at 5am to push email and Twitter applications/information to the front of the pack and make them the most readily accessible services in order to make my life simpler. At night I generally double check my alarm and make sure it’s set to the correct time. Same as before, as the clock nears 10-11pm, the alarm or clock application gets the most attention on the homescreen.

In theory it’s a super simple concept and one that would no doubt benefit a wide range of Android users. Actually coding and tweaking the application in the real world however is another story. Intuitive UI says the app is available in the Android Market as we speak, yet as AndroidCommunity couldn’t find it, nor can I. A UK only for the time being? We’ll find out.

In the meantime, does anyone whom has already installed Intuitive UI care to sound off below on their likes/dislikes?
