iPad preorders start flowing in
So, as we have posted before, the release date for the iPad is April 3, 2010, but, the preorders have begun as of today @ 8.30a.m. EST. I’ve tried to get some face time with the Apple Store online and it keeps locking up for me, not sure if it is getting flooding with the elite Apple peeps out there, but it isn’t working for me.
As we have said, the lucky US citizens will get theirs on the 3rd, while some other countries like Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will have to wait until April to find out the pricing and the exact ship date. The rest of you countries will have to wait til later this year.
Okay, so while finally be able to get through on the Apple Store, it looks like things are up and working fine. Not all the accessories are available this moment, including the Camera attachment and keyboard dock. But, if you are dropping $499+ you might have to wait anyways for the extra toys
