Love the idea of the Mythbusters but looking for something geared a little more towards concepts that appear in video games? If you think about it, there’s actually quite a market there. The people behind “Immersion Immersion” — Rooster Teeth (RedvsBlue) — think so to which is why they are putting together one of the most awesome of all awesome shows (second to Mythbusters of course).

Immersion Immersion is currently in the pilot phase, but if it gets the green light to proceed, nerds everywhere will soon be able to see concepts from their favorite video games played out in real life.

So far, only one concept has been tested — driving a car in third person. With a camera mounted on an arm that extends off the back of the car and the windows covered up, that video game third person view is put to the test. How hard could it be? Well, watch the video below to find out.

I can sit here and say that I think I’d do better than the driver below, but it’s all speculation and boasting until I could actually attempt it myself. Think you would fare better?
