Another day, another game ruined by DRM. Or is it? A new development on the PS3 front is disappointing to put it mildly. Gamers across the blue marble we live on are noticing that trying to launch Final Fight: Double Impact when logged out of the PSN or in a location with network access are being prompted each and every time to log in. This would signal that Sony is testing a similar approach that Ubisoft is rolling out — always-on network connections to play games. But is it Sony?

Want a faster compupter? I mean, really faster? Usually we’d look at the processor (for multitaskers) or GPU (for gamers). The speed of RAM doesn’t return very much “bang for your buck” speed in most of life’s situations. That 2,000MHz+ RAM is more or less for bragging rights in all but the most extreme cases.
Rumors of an HTC buyout of Palm created a flurry of speculation earlier this week. I myself was even pretty intrigued and on board if HTC decided to take that path. Think of how awesome an HTC/webOS combo could have been — that magical hardware + software synergy.

But the Goog’s has plenty more to dish out as they are planning on releasing Google Navigation for iPhone “and plenty of other mobile platforms“, they announced today at a London Tech conference.

While I try to feature a new Elecite BlackBerry theme on the sidebar each time a new one pops out, it’s been quite a while since I’ve actually written anything about them. So here it is — Elecite’s newest BlackBerry theme: Polygon.
As time moves along, it’s becoming more and more apparent that the little guy/end user is having more and more of their rights and freedoms taken away. For today’s depressing example, we’ll look at Sony and their continual effort to fuck over PS3 users.

Nexus One owners may be a bit less enthralled about their N1 purchase after learning that Google is giving up “future engineering efforts” pertaining to that pesky 3G reception issue that has plagued the device since day 1.
At first, many suspected it was a simple software issue that could be remedied with a harmless OTA update patch. Well, that patch came and it went without much help. The 3G issues still persisted, signaling to many that it was more of a hardware issue — everyone’s worst nightmare.
