Another not gadget that has captivated my inner being. I know from experience that kids love crayons. Not just to color with, but to eat too. Hey, don’t kid yourself. We’ve all pretty much tried to stick on in either our nose, mouth, or both at some point during our childhood.
Now we have nothing left to do but thank Luxirare — 50% thank them that is. This marvelous invention of human ingenuity isn’t actually available for sale. Buzz kill, I know. Ingredients for a couple crayons and another pic await you inside…

“Make your own magnets”. Sounds kind of nice in writing. But it’s much cooler in person. At least that’s the vibe I’m getting from looking at the image above. In any event, I’ve got a coffee table with this thing’s name on it.
To use it, slap a magnet on something small, put it in the center, and plug it in. Simple. Effective. Cool. Excuse me while I test every single thing in my house for levitating abilities…

You’ve probably all seen the Motorola Shadow’s leaked images by now. It’s definitely a looker and honestly, is making me re-evaluate my loyalty to my Droid. But with this new leak also comes a few clarifications regarding the hardware.
That 4.3″ WVGA — it’s actually a 4.1″ diagonal. Smaller, but still more than ample to seduce countless people. Also, that 16GB of internal storage is actually an 8GB + 8GB (internal/removable memory card) combo.
So ya, it’s not quite as whiz bang as once thought, but awesome none the less. I still want one…

The next time you convince yourself that you need another nerf gun, take a good hard look at all of the store bought crap you’ve acquired. While fun to play with, they’re so unoriginal. Why not do as modder, “Moz”, and construct your very own nerf gun from two dollar store donors.
But Moz didn’t just make any rifle. This my friends is a complete working replica of the Halo Assault Rifle that shoots nerf darts! Slip inside and check out the vid to see it in action…
Are you a social gamer or one who cares more for eye candy and being locked away in a dark, somewhat smelly bedroom for hours on end? If you’re the former, Xbox Live is pretty much your only choice. The integration with the console and the ease at which games can be played across continents to the simplicity of buying and downloading new games is second to none.
But if you’re the latter, Sony’s PSN is more your flavor. I mean, how can you beat free? Sony realizing their PSN isn’t quite in the same league as Microsoft’s Xbox Live looks to be trying at it again, with rumors that a highly needed change is coming to the Playstation Network…

Any normal person disguising themselves as a geek can pick up those cute little USB nerf turrets. While cool and easily able to keep me busy for half the working day, sometimes you just want more. Once you graduate from such novelty gifts and work your way into bigger and better things, the stakes get bigger and the ammunition becomes more powerful.
What exactly do you have to look forward to? iPod-controlled coil guns…
Blu-ray is the current physical format champ. At 25GB — 100GB if you take into account those quad-layer specimens we’ve heard about — Blu-ray technology is the go-to standard for people that have an almost insatiable hunger for physically transported data. Many of us nerds would handedly prefer a large flash drive, as over the course of the drives’ life, a considerable amount of money will be saved. Plus, it’s just so much easier to copy something to a flash drive instead of a Blu-ray.
But a new technology out of Japan could have us “physical is dead” fanboys contemplating where our loyalty lies with promises of 25TB — yes, that’s a terabyte — discs…
