The BlackBerry Storm was supposed to be the iPhone slayer from RIM. While it garned some moderate success from a niche group of users, it failed to take on the masses like its fruity sibling. Like its predecessor, the Storm 2 was also welcomed into rather mediocre fan fare. Looking at the past two luke warm touchscreen-only devices, can RIM finally take the cake with the Storm 3? Perhaps a list of specs should be in order, no? Going by claims originating from Salomodrin.net, the upcoming BlackBerry Storm 3 looks like a beast on paper…(Hop in!)
Lucky Europeans fortunate enough have access to Spotify, a souped up music streaming service, will be glad to know that a new version has been submitted to the App Store for approval. While desktop users can spoof their location and squeak around geographic barriers, mobile users have it a bit harder.
For the new version of Spotify, the most obvious and worthwhile talking point is multitasking for iOS4. As you all know, the new API’s in iOS4 will allow Spotify users to “close” the program and let it run in the background while they go about doing other things on their iPhone 4s.
For leagues of music junkies (you know who you are), there isn’t a greater gift. Stay tuned!

Introducing the iPlunge. To my eye, nothing looks more versatile. Never be left without an iPhone kickstand or emergency plumbing utility again! Truth be told, any phone could benefit from the iPlunge though.
The best part is that the manufacturer didn’t overprice this kickstand/mobile accessory into oblivion. The iPlunge will retail for $6.99 this fall. Why not pick up a couple?

We care about gadgets. We care about Star Wars. We also care about having a good time. So sit back, relax, and hit the button below. Because next to worrying about how your going to pay your bills, your kids’ college tuition, and how you’re going to put food on the table, the biggest thing that weighs heavily each and every night is this: What exactly does a Star Wars AT-AT do in its “daily life”?
Rest assured that Patrick Boiv has captured all that makes up an AT-AT’s afternoon in his minute-long documentary dubbed: ” AT-AT Day Afternoon”
There’s something to be said about the wireless freedom mobile broadband provides. Eschewing the troublesome inconvenience that cords and “home networks” provide is liberating to say the least, especially if you have a plot of land that is both nice to meander through and provides decent wireless coverage. But one thing always keeps people on edge — prices. Mobile wireless broadband isn’t cheap, nor is it very giving in the data allotment department. Can Best Buy Mobile’s new broadband plans win you over?

Modern science has changed the humans live with physical disabilities for the better, more and more with each passing year. But why should humans “have all the fun”? Our four legged friends should benefit from our advancements in modern medicine as well, right?
One lucky cat has done just that. Dubbed the “world’s first bionic cat”, “Oscar” is living the high life once again after a tragic encounter with a crop harvester. He’s lucky to have made it out less two legs, let alone with his life.
Getting the cat-robot magic down was made possible by University College London’s Professor Gordon Blunn, and his exoprosthesis leg. What makes this bionic leg so nifty is that it allows the cats two left over leg stumps to grow into the prosthetic limbs, creating a rather “life-like” connection of sorts between man and machine.
Pretty cool stuff, wouldn’t you say? Check out the vid inside that showcases Oscar walking around on his new bionic legs.
