Unknown Apple devices again spotted in AppleTV firmware.

Is the CDMA iPhone real? It’s really only a matter of time before we see one. Apple would be stupid to ignore the amount of VZW users in the US. That’s a ton of money itching for some iLove. And maybe, just maybe one of these mystery devices mentioned in the recently released AppleTV firmware is it. Truth be told, these mysterious devices were actually reported back in April by BGR. At that time, however, we all thought that it was probably different forms of the iPhone 4 that would all launch simultaneously. That obviously didn’t play out.

With that said, there still isn’t much to go by except a few lines cryptic internal labeling and a dash of hopes and dreams. As long as Apple continues on the current model labeling scheme, (and taking into account that the iPhone 4 is model 3,1), the 3,2 and 3,3 indicate a rather minor change in hardware. Could be a new antenna design (unlikely) or it could be that highly talked about CDMA iPhone. Even more out there — it could be a T-Mo compatible phone.

What do you guys think?
