If you took Super Mario and Twitter, threw them together in a room, in to which they conceived a child, Super Twario would be it. It’s a “social game” of sorts — your tweets are turned into platforms for your character (a rabbit) to jump on. But it gets more involved. When you jump on/hit the platforms, you have the option of reading and replying to tweets. Bolstering your score comes by way of other, Twitter-esque events: tweets, gaining new followers, Follow Friday mentions, as well as being ReTweeted. Rounding out the uber social status of this game is the fact that it is Game Center compatible. So yes, all of your friends (and strangers) are included in the fun.
The concept is definitely unique. It’s cool to see a game built around a living, breathing social stream. Of course, you won’t really ever know how it works if you don’t try it out.
