Oh boy. The white iPhone 4 saga is getting downright ridiculous now with this on-again-off-again action. First it was delayed, and then it was delayed again. For good measure, Apple delayed it a third time, though never stating as to why it was many months behind schedule. And then it started to come out that it wasn’t necessarily a paint issue (as rumored in the past), but an issue with the translucent white back case leaking in too much light and causing the camera to glitch out when trying to determine white balance and such.

But putting all of that aside, it appeared as if redemption was closer than expected with a recent update to the Apple Store app including the white iPhone 4 in it’s list of items for purchase or pre-order. But it appears if that was short lived and that the white iPhone 4 ship has sailed, for the white iPhone 4 has now been pulled from the very same app.

Looks like those rumors of Apple canceling the white iPhone 4 and stalling with delay after delay after delay might be true after all…
