Dell Tablet Roadmap Leaks: Windows 7 And Android Living In Harmony.

The Dell Streak 5″ tablet/gigantor phone will soon have some larger siblings to play around with. A freshly leaked roadmap via Android Central shows three new tablets — two Windows 7 tablets and one Android offering.

The Android tablet will go by the name “Dell Streak Pro” and carry a 10″ 1200 x 800 display powered by an Nvidia Tegra T25 processor. Currently, the Streak Pro will be WiFi-only. Dell will reportedly overlay their Stage 1.5 UI on top of Android and provide various corporate oriented apps and features.

The two Windows 7 tablets — Latitude ST and Latitude XT-3 — will come in both tablet (former) and convertible tablet/laptop (latter) form factors. The tablet-esque ST will run an Intel Atom Z6xx Oak Trail platform with processors ~1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. The more traditional XT-3 will feature normal-voltage Sandy Bridge processors, 4GB of RAM, as well as stylus input support.

Pricing and release information for the trio of tablets is not known at the time of writing, though past rumors said June-Fall. Also not known — why Dell is continuing with Windows 7-based tablets when the market has clearly shown thus far that desktop tablets do not sell. Common sense would have Dell focusing exclusive on Android tablets. Nevertheless, we’ll keep you posted…
