Windows 8 Settings Panel Shows Off More WP7 Flair.

Another day, another leak of containing Windows 8 features. This time, however, we get a handy little video! The content of which focuses on the Windows 8 control panel and the new Windows Phone 7/Metro-esque style that Redmond is dishing out all over the next gen OS in hopes of making it more tablet/finger-friendly.

While we’re definitely digging the new look, the scrolling column — That is tiny we might add! — is a terrible idea. It makes us think of the early days of the www and no0b website owners throwing tables all over the place. Note to Microsoft: Please, get rid of the scrolling.

Is Microsoft trying too hard to be different and unique? Video action after the break…

The “leaks” are so regular it makes me think Microsoft is the deliberate leaker.

As for Windows 8, it looks like Windows Phone because it is Windows Phone.

Windows 8 will be ported to the ARM architecture and run on phones. It will replace Windows Phone 7. Then, Microsoft will have a unified OS for desktop, tablet and phone.
