Sony’s been doing a decent job of keeping users abreast of the ongoing PSN hack and outage, though public outcry has continued to grow. Some may argue that no matter what Sony does, customer backlash is unavoidable given the circumstances at hand. Nevertheless, Sony is going to try their damnedest by officially addressing the world via a press conference tomorrow (2pm local Japan time/1am EST). It is there that Sony’s Executive Deputy President, Kazuo Hirai, will officially acknowledge the ongoing crisis, information pertaining to the investigation, as well as the company’s information management system and when customers can expect services to resume. We’d also assume Hirai will at least touch on areas in which Sony is going to compensate disgruntled users.
Check back here at 1am EST for the latest.
