While we’ll be the first to admit that we love Android just as much as iOS, Google still has a problem with the various Android versions floating around and getting carriers/manufacturers to actually push out timely updates.
With that said, a new report by Apprupt shows a full 95% of all iPhones are running some flavor of iOS 4 one year after release. The remaining ~5% break down into iOS 3 (4.22%) and iOS 2 (0.17%).
Yes, Android 2.3 adoption is finally getting around to “mainstream” over 6 months after it was initially released, but it’s no where near 95% of the Android ecosystem — a sad fact of reality that Google still refuses to buck up and deal with.
