Many missed deadlines, 7 months of obscurity and relative uncertainty still hasn’t killed the excitement surrounding the Motorola DROID Bionic. Though we’d argue it’s hardware, from what we’ve heard thus far, will now merely “fit in” instead of stand out. Nonetheless, we’re ecstatic to hear Motorola CEO state the DROID Bionic will officially launch in September.
The announcement was made on a Cnet interview earlier today.
Specs for those of you living under a rock will include a beefy TI OMAP 4430 1GHz processor, 4.3″ qHD display @ 960 x 540, 8-megapixel camera w/ LED flash, and of course, LTE. Pricing hasn’t been announced though will likely follow the same $299 pricing with a new 2-year contract.
Anyone out there who made the decision to hold out for the Bionic excited to finally put that saved money to use?
