Apple certainly has many, many tens of millions of iOS devices out in the wild. But Google too has quite the army. Last night Google announced their financial figures and overall Android success with CEO Larry Page dropping total device numbers totaling upwards of 190 million. More importantly, however, is that Google has managed to make a cool $2.25 billion off of the aforementioned Android device army.
Numbers aside, Page seemed excited for the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich reveal by saying that he was “super-excited about the soon-to-be released new version of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich, that’s right, Ice Cream Sandwich”. He went on, “You won’t believe what we manage to get done in this release”. We’re ready and waiting, Larry.
