Found a loophole in Apple’s apticket system. Restored my iPad 2 to 5.0.1 from 5.1. Works on all A5 devices.

Upgrade your A5 iOS device 5.1 only to wish you could go back to 5.0.1 and a full, untethered jailbreak? You’re (possibly) in luck. iOS hacker iH8sn0w has found a bug with Apple’s apticket system that, according to him, allows him to restore his iPad 2 to iOS 5.0.1 after already upgrading to iOS 5.1.
This should make users of Apple A5 devices happy, as currently there isn’t a method to downgrade to iOS 5.0.1 after upgrading to the latest 5.1 release. Hopefully it leads to a usable exploit.
