Twitter for iOS and Android is getting a somewhat important update today according to the company’s blog.
The big additions include a new “Activity” stream that will now show a user’s followers’ retweets, favorites, etc. This new content will show up in the “Discover” tab underneath new news stories. Similarly, the search area within Android and iOS versions gains the addition of spelling suggestions as well as username auto-complete. Finally, Push Notifications for interactions (when your tweets have been favorites/retweeted and for new followers) can now also be sent to you as they happen. Naturally, you can enable/disable each of these Push Notifications individually.
