The subsidized $99 Xbox 360 + Kinect we learned of last week is official beginning today. The new page detailing the promotion just went live on Microsoft’s site, and confirms what was posted last week:
- 2-year subscription to Xbox Live Gold for $14.99/month
- 4 GB Microsoft Xbox 360 + Kinect for $99
- U.S. Only
Microsoft re-iterates that the promotion is subject to termination at any point meaning this little stunt could be nothing more than temporary experiment instead of a long-term offering. Hopefully it’s the latter as we’re pretty sure a next-gen Xbox tied to a 2-year subscription could pique quite a lot of peoples’ interest, no?
