Sometime last year, Foxconn promised to change it’s conditions to further benefit it’s employees. In the past, Foxconn and Apple had been in the spotlight for the poor conditions that the factory workers were placed under. As of now, we aren’t entirely aware of what steps in that direction Foxconn has taken, but, today, Apple promises to lend a hand, financially. The public, still, isn’t quite clear on what the precise details of this arraignment are; neither of the two companies are revealing many details.
They have a rough schedule; the conditions are hoped to be fully improved by July of 2013, but, at this rate, I imagine that it will be much lengthier.
