Lovers of super fast broadband will be pleased to know that Verizon is coming to save the day — with 300 Mbps FiOS.
Beginning next month, Verizon will start offering a new 300/65 Mbps (down/up) tier for an as of now undisclosed price $204.99 per month. Considering the current 150/35 Mbps tier is $199.99/month, we can’t see twice the speed going down in price. That said, Verizon will still pay attention to those at the bottom end, too. The 15/5 Mbps $54.99+ package will remain unchanged.
Besides the blinding fast 300/65 high-end FiOS tier, Verizon will also be overhauling their other tiers. The new options will include:
- 150/65 Mbps
- 75/35 Mbps
- 50/25 Mbps
- 15/5 Mbps
