Change Your Passwords (Again) – Last.fm Confirms They Were Hacked. Undisclosed Amount Of User Accounts Compromised.

After this week’s LinkedIn fiasco, it appears the latest tech giant to fall to bored hackers is Last.fm. Earlier today a tweet was posted by Last.fm’s Twitter account stating that there were some “issues” they had discovered. The issues weren’t divulged at the time, though, warranted the company asking users to begin logging in and changing their password.

Now, a few hours later, it looks like Last.fm is the latest company to fall to hackers as they have just announced/confirmed on their blog that they were in fact hacked. The number of affected accounts hasn’t been disclosed.

So again, we have to ask you to go to one of your various web services and change your passwords (again).

What is going on out there…?
