If Apple’s stock email experience isn’t doing it for you, Sparrow is your only other legitimate choice. While it (still) lacks Push Notifications, the UI is second to none. Add to that IMAP/POP support and a bevy of features for email power users + tight Gmail integration and you’ve got yourself an email app well worth the $2.99 asking price. But if said price was just a bit too high for your liking, Sparrow is running a “Now or Never” sale.
Today and tomorrow only, Sparrow for iPhone is only $0.99. On Thursday it rises to $1.99, while Friday Sparrow for iPhone returns to its normal $2.99.
Yeah. We agree. Without push notifications the power users of the world *raises hand* will still laugh at the thought of returning to manually checking email. But the combination of features, UI and promise of eventual push notifications coming sooner rather than later is reason enough to drop a buck now. Pay now, get rewarded later. Yeah. That’s it.
