Samsung’s iMessage/BlackBerry Messenger/Kik/WhatsApp killer, “ChatON!”, is about to get a lot more visual if reports. (Translated) by Korean paper DDaily are correct. According to the Daily, Samsung will soon be releasing an update to ChatON! that brings video calling to both WiFi and 3G. The update will hit Android first, with the other platforms such as iOS following sometime in the not too distant future (we’d assume).
For now, keep the salt shaker close as confirmation via official channels hasn’t happened yet. (We’re trying.) That said, as ChatON! becomes more robust in features, do you see yourself being swayed from your current chat platform of choice?
