Don’t get me wrong. I’m into a good, long brain tingling game like many of you out there. I also like a a few sessions in the latest first person shooter. But my ultimate game/time waster is Grand Theft Auto. Maybe it’s the ability to do whatever I want, hold up a pizza place and perform other questionably definitely illegal things that makes the game so much fun. But truth be told, Grand Theft Auto IV is getting a bit…old. Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto V has been teased a time or two by Rockstar, though nothing official has been said regarding its release (rumored to be sometime in December 2012 or early 2013). Sure, there’s the previously released trailer to let our eyes munch on. But even with that we’re left wanting more.
Today, Rockstar took it upon themselves to tease us a bit more by releasing two more Grand Theft Auto V screenshots. Sadly, as before, the screenshots come sans any new information regarding features of the next GTA installment as well as no mention/clarification of the release date. When questioned by one agitated fan as to why Rockstar has been mum on GTX 5 since release the trailer what seems like eons ago, Rockstar replied, saying that they’ve held back information “because they want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you we play it” and because they “want to release only 100% correct information”. Fair enough. We’ll take the new eye candy.
