Wthr 2.0 Coming In August: Night Mode, Hourly Forecasts.
Minimalistic, slick looking weather apps exploded in recent months. But out of all the chaos and competition, one such app impresses us more than the others. Wthr, by David Elgena is, to us, one of the better looking custom weather apps for quick, at-a-glance information. If you’ve used Wthr at all in the past, you’ll know it’s all about attention to detail and displaying just the information that’s needed. And soon (this August), version 2.0 is going to hit the streets running with a new “night mode” and hourly forecasts.
When we really want to get a grasp on the weather we still use some of the big name clients like Accuweather and Weatherbug simply because they display more informative weather information, not to mention, weather radar. But for most instances of just checking the immediate and short-term forecast, apps like Wthr are where it’s at.
